Course Objectives

This 3-day mushroom cultivation course introduces on how to grow edible mushrooms at home, and on a commercial scale.

You will learn about culture maintenance, substrate preparation, application of IoT for monitoring & maintenance, pest & disease management, and the business aspect of setting and running a mushroom farm, marketing opportunities and business strategies.

Course Description

Learners will learn:
  • Varieties of edible mushrooms and their nutritional/medicinal values
  • Cultivation & growth requirements and pest management
  • The process of growing mushrooms, from spores to harvesting
  • Application IoT technologies in monitoring and maintenance of mushroom
    cultivation
  • Insider’s tips on running a mushroom business
