Course Objectives

At the end of the training, the Certificate would equip participants with the following learning outcomes:
•   Understand the Social Awareness competency in the CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) Framework
•   Understand the age-differentiated developmental tasks in relation to self-management
•   Acquire knowledge and skills to develop activities that enhance children’s acquisition of self-management.

Course Description

It is a 16- hour short course over 2 days on equipping the participants on knowledge, skills and techniques to improve the social emotional skill of the students. There are 5 short courses in this series, each course focuses on one specific skill. Adopting a blended learning model, these short courses can be taken separately by learners or stacked to be awarded the Certificate in Social Emotional Learning.
