Course Objectives
At the end of the training, the course would equip participants with the following learning outcomes:•  Demonstrate the understanding of the factors associated with disruptive classroom behaviours of students
•  Demonstrate the understanding of classroom management principles
•  Demonstrate the competency of application of classroom management strategies
Course Description
This 16- hour short course adopting a blended learning model over 2 days aims to equip the learners knowledge, skills and techniques in Classroom Management. The learners will be taught on the the developmental and ecological factors that are associated with various types of disruptive classroom behaviour of students. Classroom management principles will be taught as well. With this understanding, the learners will learn to apply various Classroom Management Strategies underpinned by classroom management principles to manage these behaviours within the classroom setting.This is one of the four short courses that can be taken separately by learners and stacked towards the Certificate in Student Management.
