Trainer's profile
Steven Xu is a senior lecturer in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, he worked at Cycle & Carriage, Mercedes-Benz Singapore, Indeco Engineers before joining NP. He had 10 over years of working experience in automotive industry. He holds a Master's in Science in Precision Engineering from NTU, and a Bachelor's in Automotive Engineering from South China University of Technology.
Besides teaching the Diploma courses and supervising the students’ final year projects, Steven Xu also developed and conducted various automotive courses, such as the following certifiable courses:
Steven Xu worked with Singapore Standards Council, Singapore Motor Workshop Association (SMWA), and other industry partners to develop a Singapore Standard on Motor Workshop SS662:2020.
Steven Xu actively engaged and contributed in the following working groups:

Refund and withdrawal policy
- Please note that a 100% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted more than or equal to 14 days before the course start date.
- Please note that a 50% refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted less than 14 days before the course start date.
- Please note that no refund will be available if the withdrawal request is submitted on or after the course start date.

<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) can only be used to cover:</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(i) Course fees payable;</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(ii) Assessment fees which are part of the course;</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(iii) Certification fees which are part of the course; and</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(iv) GST imposed on components supported for SFC use.</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt"></span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">Penalty charges apply if you:</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(i) are absent/ no show;</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(ii) withdraw from a course within 14 days of the course start date; </span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">(iii) fail the assessment</span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt"></span></span><br><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-size:12pt">SFC cannot be used to offset penalty charges imposed by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.</span></span>
