Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:•  Understand virtual production.
•  Understand the importance of network infrastructure.
•  Learn planning and pre-production for virtual meetings.
• Understand how lighting, video cameras and audio work together to achieve a successful production.
•  Learn how to onboard your speakers from remote sites.
•  Learn to use Network Device Interface (NDI) and Dante for virtual productions.
•  Learn to select the right streaming platform for your event.
•  Hands on exercises to run your own online event.
Course Description
This course upskills existing event producers and technicians to prepare their organisations and clients for virtual meetings, conferences and hybrid events.This is a short, intensive course on Virtual Meetings.
This course covers basic concepts and practice of virtual meetings production. It aims to prepare events staff who are keen to pivot to virtual events with the knowledge needed to run a successful virtual event. The course will address important processes in pre-production and planning. Participants will get hands on practice with the equipment. Participants will learn how lighting, video, virtual set design and digital audio all play a part in creating a virtual event.
