Course Information
BIM is now mandatory to be used in the design and construction of buildings, infrastructures and facilities. The rich geometrical and object data captured in BIM files is now available to enhance productivity of facilities management (FM) which is at the downstream of the building and construction industry. The objective of this course is to enable FM professionals to access BIM data to enhance the productivity of their daily work.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand BIM geometric and data structure related to FM
- Export FM related data in BIM files
- Access data in BIM files without the use of REVIT or other BIM software
- Understand the process of Digital Asset Delivery for FM

Trainer's Profile
Tsang Pui Sum graduated from Hong Kong University with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from National University of Singapore. He is a fulltime
lecturer with Ngee Ann Polytechnic for more than 30 years, teaching Facilities Management Technologies, BIM, and mechanical facilities. He is a Professional Engineer (Mech) in Singapore.
Certification
Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who have achieved at least 75% in attendance and passed all required assessment(s).

SkillsFuture Credit
