Course Information
Artificial Intelligence (AI) mimics the perceiving, cognising and decision-making capabilities of a human being via computing machines intelligence. In the past decade, AI has brought us self-driving vehicles, facial recognition, speech recognition, web search, etc. Nowadays, AI is so ubiquitous that you actually use it dozens of times a day without noticing it.
In this class, you will be given a systematic introduction to AI technology including how it is developed, AI systems and their applications. More importantly, you will learn how AI systems are adopted in financial sectors with innovative case studies. There will also be sharing on how to make the application of AI fair, ethical, accountable and transparent.

- Be acquainted to disruptions these emerging technologies have brought to incumbent players and changing the future of work

Trainer's Profile
Fanglin is currently the Head of Research and Development at ADVANCE.AI. He has over 15 years of experience developing AI techniques to tackle academic and industrial problems. Prior to ADVANCE.AI, he was the Associate Director of Video Analytics and Machine Learning at NCS Group, Chief Technological Officer at KAI Square, Research Fellow at NUS as well as research scientist at Autodesk and two other multinational companies. He received his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and has a Master and Bachelor degree from Harbin Institute of Technology.
CHIA Wai Kong is an experienced Principal Consultant with a proven track record of empowering clients with digital transformation skills and technologies, delivering quantifiable outcomes.
Wai Kong has done projects using technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud, AI and data analytics. These were used to help in subscriber profiling, fraud detection, and social media analytics. His work has brought him throughout the Asia Pacific, Western Europe, Middle East, East Africa, North and South America.
Certification
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to learner who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to learner who meet the 75% attendance requirement.
