How has workplace learning benefitted your job/business?
Q1: Workplace learning is a crucial component of a well-functioning healthcare system. It benefits our nurses by ensuring they remain knowledgeable and skilled, while also positively impacting client care, safety, efficiency, and innovation. We endeavor to build learning agility amongst our nurses so that they can learn better and have better resilience.
How is workplace learning a part of your business?
Q2: We adopted a reflective model that helps nurses evaluate a shared experience or a recent event so that they can identify ways to improve or act. This critical thinking model was implemented in our Thinking Nurse project so that we can develop higher-order thinking skills. Ultimately, such thinking skills contributes to the overall improvement of healthcare services and outcomes.
