Course Information

Gain an understanding on Internet of Things (IoT) as an intuitive hardware and firmware integration tool for implementation of an IoT sensor for remote process monitoring in this course.

Learning Outcomes

After this course, you will be able to gain an understanding on Internet of Things (IoT) including:

  • Knowing IoT as an intuitive hardware and firmware integration tool for implementation of an IoT sensor for remote process monitoring.
  • Attaining a basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for IoT

Trainer's Profile

Er Poi Voon

Dr Er Poi Voon received her PhD from National University of Singapore in 2017. She is currently working as a lecturer with the School of InfoComm Technology in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Prior joining Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Dr Er was a Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in National University of Singapore. Her research interest are in machine condition monitoring, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

Certification

A Certificate of Performance will be awarded to participants who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessment(s).

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who meet the 75% attendance requirement but did not pass all required assessment(s).

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have basic programming skills in C/C++

Funding period for this course is from 1 Jul 2023 to 30 Sep 2024.
