Course Objectives
The candidate will be able to demonstrates flight control proficiency to apply the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot license Class A Rotorcraft (Multi-rotor) and upon passing will enjoy the privilege for flying UA for any business entities for for his own business needs. The candidate can work as an UA flight instructor to train new UA pilot candidates.Course Description
For this course:1) Trainees are given time to practice with the drones and to observe other candidates for the assessment.
2) Trainees are also given time to rehearse for the assessment.
3) Trainees are given time to watch the replay after the assessment at the field.
4) Trainees are debrief after the assessment
During the assessment, trainees must show competence in accordance to CAAS’s passing requirement in operating drones up to 25kg (Class A rotorcraft) to attain the UAPL.
The assessment is conducted by NP and MIRS Authorised Flight Examiners (AFE). The trainee’s flight test results will be sent to CAAS electronically. Trainees can pay a fee to CAAS and apply for the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot License (UAPL). The UAPL is retrieved via CAAS’s app SGflight.
With the UAPL, the trainees can operate drones for commercial purposes.
