Course Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
– Learn about the different licences required to provide financial services.
– Be aware of the regulatory framework for Financial Technologies in Singapore and the concept of cross-border compliance.
– Learn about how financial institutions leverage RegTech solutions to facilitate due diligence.
– Explore different tasks where RegTech solutions are employed and how they can be connected to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and lead to better outcomes for the financial institution.
– Examine the requirements RegTech solutions must meet for their use by financial institutions and how to evaluate them
Course Description
Financial institutions must comply with a multitude of regulatory requirements and meet a plethora of regulatory obligations. To cope with the management, execution and oversight of all these obligations, financial institutions increasingly utilise regulatory technology, so-called “RegTech”. In this course, you obtain an overview of the obligations different financial institutions must meet and explore RegTech solutions that are applied to facilitate specific tasks and how they can interact to facilitate processes, enhance outcomes and monitor the status of compliance. In addition, we examine what requirements RegTech solutions should meet and how you can evaluate them.Course Structure
